Implantable hearing aids are surgically placed behind the ear. Bone anchored hearing aids (BAHA) are designed for adults who experience chronic middle ear infections or have a mixed hearing loss or for patients with hearing loss only in one ear.Cochlear Implants
Cochlear Implants are FDA approved devices available to adults who do not experience benefit from hearing aids. These surgically implanted devices mimic the functions of the human ear for those with moderate to profound hearing loss.
